While appointments are always recommended, River City Eye Care is happy to accommodate emergency and walk-in patients at our Edmonton office whenever possible.
The Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan (AHCIP) provides coverage for eye exams for children under the age of 19 and seniors over the age of 65. Eye examinations for adults 19 to 64 years of age are not covered by Alberta Health Care but we can bill third party insurance whenever possible
For your convenience, River City Eye Care offers direct billing to all the major medical insurance providers. If you have insurance that is not listed on our website, please call us. We are happy to arrange direct billing for your convenience.
